Zadar was always a city that I wanted to visit because of the beautiful sea and its rich history dating from prehistoric times. This summer I finnaly got the chance. And what better time of the year than summer to visit one of the most famous cities in the Dalmatian region. My favourite thing about Zadar is the old town of Zadar, which shows town's historical legacy. The old town is full of beautiful small cobblestone streets where you can wander all day. Some of the main sights are: Church of St. Donatus, Roman Forum, St. Anastasia's Cathedral, Greeting to the Sun, Sea Organ etc. Zadar is also known for its sunsets, so make sure to see that.
